Introduction

The new range of AP BIO Air Purifiers from FläktGroup is the best way to combat airborne transmission of viruses and bacteria in almost any closed environment. Thanks to our revolutionary AirFend™ filtration technology, viruses and bacteria are nearly 100% deactivated – including Sars-CoV-2 – when air passes through the filters in the unit. AirFend™ is a 100% natural solution.

AP BIO is the only bio decontaminating solution equipped with ePM1 50% (F7)and HEPA H14 filters with AirFend™ technology which retains and deactivates bacteria and viruses (including Sars-CoV-2 responsible for Covid-19).
The unit also purifies the air of dust and other particles with its 50% ePM1 (F7) and HEPA H14 filters.
AP BIO air purifier uses an active air treatment process, unlike other passive air treatment solutions.
AP BIO is a mobile unit which can easily be moved to different rooms and used in a very flexible way.

Product Features

Filter and decontaminate: A technology that makes all the difference

The technology used makes it possible to filter and decontaminate the air in the room through a vacuum chamber, containing a bio-decontaminating agent AirFend™ composed of extracts of plant substances without toxicological classification. This bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal agent is active in particular on Sars-CoV-2 but also on all families of viruses.

Necessary air flow by type and room volume

Depending on the air flow rate used (which is adjustable) of the AP BIO air purifier, it can treat different volumes of air associated with the size of each room(bedrooms, recovery rooms, resuscitation rooms, offices, schools, nurseries, etc.). It can also process ISO classified areas. With the AP BIO Air Purifier, you can also purify a defined area in a few minutes in deactivation mode (ex: leave the air purifier at a flow rate of 2400 m3/h for 5 min to purify an area of 60 m2).

Filtration Barriers

The AP BIO purifier draws the air from the room in order to retain the particles, microbes, viruses and bacteria which pass through a first filtration barrier ePM1 50% (F7) and then through a second filtration barrier H14 (absolute filter) which is impregnated with the bio-decontaminating solution AirFend™ in the form of a 100% natural powder in order to neutralize viruses and bacteria.

Air Intakes

The AP BIO air purifier has two air inlets at the top that increase the filtration surface area in order to purify as much air as possible.

Convincing Results

In France, laboratory tests have shown that the AirFend™ solution applied to the filters of the AP BIO air purifier has a virucidal action including on the H1N1 influenza virus and the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) according to the test protocol of standard EN 14476.
